Geelong Mums is a ‘Not For Profit’ organisation that supports babies and children in the Geelong area and as far away as Colac and Warrnambool. They provide new and recycled nursery equipment like cots, prams and car seats, as well as clothes and other baby essentials to the under privileged in the community via a network of social workers
Kiwanis Geelong has supported Geelong Mums in a variety of way since 2016. In 2016 we purchased ten brand new cots for Geelong Mums at a cost of $1,400. In 2017 Kiwanis donated $1,000 to an appeal to lease the new premises in Balliang St, South Geelong.

In the winter of 2019 Geelong Mums put out a request for second hand shoes and clothing. Kiwanis once again came to the party donating $508 of clothing consisting of trackpants, Jeans, vests, hoodies, jackets, jockets, boots, shoes and socks. This was repeated again in May 2020, upping the amount clothing donated to $1000.

At the presentation of the 10 car seats are front to back Peter Phillips, Spencer Harding and Graeme Munro.
